Harry Goes Home!

Super wonderful Harry, the large hound went home yesterday. Harry is now in her forever home with Peter, his wife and their young son. We are so happy for Harry as he begins life as part of a family where he will be loved and cared for - every dogs dream and a reality for Harry.

Harry Is Looking For New Digs

Harry's foster is moving to a smaller home where there is a # dog limit so Harry is looking for a new foster home. Here's what Harry's current foster says about him:

"He is a wonderful dog. I know my family and I will miss him dearly. I just wish we didn't have to move because we would consider adopting him. He is wonderful with my dogs, cat and kids. He is a big couch potato. He is good on his leash and in his crate. He has put a lot of his weight back on (he was so skinny when he came from the shelter), I think he looks healthy and happy."

Harry is housetrained and just a sweet, easy going dog. Please help Harry find a new foster home or adopter by spreading the word about him. THANKS!

Harry Is Adjusting to his Foster Family

Harry is finally coming out of his shell. He is playful and very curious. He has put on a few pounds since coming home with us. He loves playing with his foster brother and sisters. He enjoys the outdoors as well as sitting in his favorite oversize chair in the living room. The other day my husband was trying to teach Harry to sit and when commanded, he went and sat in his favorite chair.

Harry Leaves The Shelter!

Harry is a very sweet, enthusiastic brown and white hound. He's got big, soft floppy ears and a sunny disposition. Through no fault of his own, Harry was abandoned and ended up at a rural high kill shelter. Luckily, he catch the eye of Anita and her family and they eagerly signed up to save Harry's life by fostering him. yay!

Harry must have been on his own for a while. He is so skinny, you can see every rib. Good thing he likes to eat and Anita is eager to fatten him up.

Harry is about 2 years old and about 50 lbs but he needs to gain 10 lbs or more. Please stop back to hear "tails" about Harry as he adjusts to the good life. If you are interested in adopting Harry, please let us know.
